I adopted Maggie April 1,2008. I was mesmerized by Maggie. The way she held herself, the way she worked herself in the herd... she was a leader and strong mare at that. I was not looking for another black horse as I already had one, but you know the saying, you can not help what you fall in love with. It was lover at first site, she was the rock I was looking for but also willing to be my partner. Currently, Maggie is going under saddle. Karina has given me home work and Maggie has been a over achiever!! We have been swimming in the lake, over obstacles, ground driving, lounging and going for long walks. I get greeted at the gate by my girl and she seems eager to work. I have been around horses all my life and owned two and even trained some. But there is just something different about these Wild Mustangs. Its hard to put it into words.. but its not like she depends on me we are working together and really becoming in sync with each other it gives me goose bumps thinking of it. I have to say when we were out in the lake swimming and I on her back... I have not been this happy in god knows how long, I had a grin from ear to ear and at that moment I think Maggie and I clicked on a whole new level and I have found my life horse in her. I want to say Thank you to Karina and to Kirk for making this happen without both of you I would never have my dream horse and be this happy! Thanks you two!!!!!!!!
