Karina was re-nominated from a pool of hundreds of trainers to participate in The Grand Daddy of Mustang Competitions,
The EXTREME Mustang Makeover!

The event is hosted by The Mustang Heritage Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management. The event is designed to showcase the trainability and versatility of the great American wild mustang.
As one of only 100 trainers chosen from across the United States, Karina worked hard to do her part in saving this American icon.
The competition focuses on trainers demonstrating the versatility and trainability of this American icon.

Karina traveled to Ewing, Illinois to pick up her mustang for the competition. Trainers are not allowed to choose their horses. Instead, the horses are chosen for them. Trainers then have 100 days to train their mustang.
